Spring Training 2011: What games are on your radar?

Dodger Fans, I know we are months away from Spring Training.  However the schedules came out yesterday for Spring Training and there are some interesting matchups.  (Again it is still Spring Training) Yet there are three game worth interest for any faithful Dodger fan.  Just keep the following games in mind whether you want to attend or watch on TV.

FEBRUARY 26^TH 2011: LA DODGERS AT LA ANGELS

Look, it’s the first Major League Baseball game since the World Series.  For the Dodger Fans reading this article, I know you guys want to forget about the 2010 fall classic very quickly.  To help forget, just watch the Dodgers beat the Angels in an LA showdown.  Considering it’s the first Spring Training game, the starters may not play more than two to three innings.  Don’t let that discourage fans from traveling to the game because you can see future stars and crafty veterans play in the game.  Remember the Dodgers have journey man minor leaguer John Lindsey competing for the backup role at first base.  Look for him to get some playing time in this game.  Also keep in mind that this is Don Mattingly’s first game as manager of the ballclub.  It’s the first chance to see what his managing styles are going to look like for the 2011 season.
