Dodgers Fans, today Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax celebrates his 75th birthday!!!!!
In his Hall of Fame career, Sandy Koufax had 165 career wins and a 2.76 ERA. His career only last 11 seasons due to arm problems. However his curve ball has been called one of the most dominant in Major League History. He had three seasons of 300 or more strikeouts, including a then MLB record of 382 in 1965. Koufax won 3 World Series titles as a member of the Dodgers (1955, 1963, and 1965) Sandy is considered by many to be the greatest pitcher in Dodgers history if not the greatest lefty pitcher in baseball history.
