Here’s to a Happy Blue Year for 2012!

As we begin a New Year with Spring Training and Opening Day right right around the corner, we want to wish you and your family a safe and happy New Year from Lasorda’s Lair!

A brand New Year brings hope that a World Series championship will be brought back to Los Angeles. We have a lot to look forward to with a new owner on the horizon. We will not be satisfied with a third place finish! This year will be the year. Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw will be leading the way to the playoffs.

Budding stars like Dee Gordon, Kenley Jansen, and Josh Lindblom will get the chance to shine. Others like Juan Uribe, James Loney, and Chad Billingsley will have the opportunity to seize redemption. Veterans like Matt Treanor, Ted Lilly, Mark Ellis, Jerry Hairston Jr., and Adam Kennedy will try to leave their mark on the season. Sophmore manager Don Mattingly will look to improve on his first season. Ned Colletti will be on the bubble as GM before the new owner decides on management choices.

We all have the same goal in mind. To score runs. To win games. To play in October.
