Dodgers 2013 Spring Training Scheduled Announced

Mark your calendars for February 23rd. That’s the day that Dodger baseball will be returning for 2013. Today the Dodgers released their Spring Training schedule for 2013 to take place at their Camelback Ranch spring training facility in Glendale, Arizona. 2013 will be their fifth season of Cactus League play.

Camelback Ranch- Glendale, Arizona

The first full-squad workout is slated for February 16th. The first Spring Training game on February 23rd will be against their Camelback Ranch cohabitants the Chicago White Sox which they will play three times at Camelback Ranch. The Dodgers will play a total of 34 Spring Training games. On March 6th, the Dodgers will host Mexico’s World Baseball Classic team at Camelback Ranch. The Mexico team will be captained by Adrian Gonzalez, and it will also include Luis Cruz.

Spring Training will conclude with the traditional Freeway Series between the Dodgers

and the Angels March 28-30th. The Dodgers will host their cross-town rivals at Dodger Stadium on April 29th and play the other two alternating games in Anaheim. There are three off days scheduled, and the Dodgers will have Sunday, March 31st off before Opening Day which falls on Monday, April 1, 2013. They will be hosting the World Champion (wow, I dislike writing that) San Francisco Giants for their opening set.
