The Dodgers will play the Seattle Mariners this afternoon at Camelback Ranch, weather permitting of course. The Dodgers had both split squad games rained out yesterday. They were only able to get in one inning of the afternoon game against the Reds. Today the Dodgers will face off against the Mariners, and old friend Jon Garland. Right hander Aaron Harang, will get the start for the Dodgers.

We’ll finally be seeing some of the regulars in today’s starting lineup. I don’t know about you, but I don’t know how much more of these non-roster Bums I can take any longer. Jeremy Moore will get the start in center field. He is the one non-roster guy who is impressing in spring this year. Andre Ethier will play right field, and Tony Gywnn Jr. will play in left. Jerry Hairston gets the start at first base, and Juan Uribe will play third while Adrian Gonzalez, and Luis Cruz are playing for team Mexico in the world baseball classic.

Mark Ellis returns to second base, Justin Sellers is at shortstop, and Matt Kemp will be the DH. Tim Federowicz will be behind the plate, giving A.J. Ellis a rest. The reserves scheduled for the Dodgers today are as follows, Elian Herrera in center field, Brian Barden at second base, Joc Pederson at DH, Yasiel Puig in right field, Scott Van Slyke at first base, Alex Castellanos in left field, Jesus Flores at catcher, Omar Luna at third base, Miguel Rojas at shortstop, and Rafael Ynoa at shortstop as well.

The Dodgers will have the following pitchers brought in behind the Big Show, Brandon League, Kenley Jansen, J.P. Howell, Kevin Gregg, and Juan Abreu. Remember the Big Show is on the trading block, and I am sure there will be scouts from various teams at Camelback Ranch to scout the big right handed lug.

Once again the Dodgers and Aaron Harang will counter old friend and former Dodger right hander Jon Garland, who hasn’t pitched in the majors since he was with the Dodgers in early 2011. The game time today is at 12:05 P.M. and the game will be webcast on the Dodgers.com site. As usual I’ll be supplying you with our usual brand of twitter commentary and humor all throughout the game. Go Blue.
