Dodgers Go For Freeway Series Sweep Of Halos
Well last night was a lot of fun, and I am beat. So tonight I return to the safety of my living room couch to watch tonight’s third and final game of the Freeway series between our beloved Dodgers and the always annoying not really from Los Angeles Angels, at the Big A.
With all of the rumors of Kerhsaw’s extension swirling, along with opening day looming on Monday, and the final round of cuts, plus the deadline for setting the rosters coming soon, there is a lot going on right now. Those final rounds of cuts could come after the game tonight, but probably won’t happen until tomorrow.

Want to hear something amazing? The Dodgers haven’t swept the Angels in the Freeway Series exhibition series in 23 years. So this has been a long time coming. I know it’s just exhibition, but sweeping the Angels in any series is nothing but pure unfiltered euphoria.

Carl Crawford LF Mark Ellis 2B Matt Kemp CF Adrian Gonzalez 1B Andre Ethier RF Luis Cruz 3B Justin Sellers SS Tim Federowicz C Zack Greinke PZack Greinke vs. Tommy Hanson
As Don Mattingly said last night, most of the regulars will be playing tonight, with the exception of A.J. Ellis. Birdman Zack Greinke will take the mound for the Dodgers, while the Halos will counter with right hander Tommy Hanson.
Remember tomorrow is an off-day for the Dodgers, and then Opening Day on Monday is at 1:05 PM. Tonight’s game starts at 7:05 PM, and will be televised on Fox Sports West. So sit back and relax, and let’s hope we can bust out those brooms. Opening day is only two days away. Let’s hope we are knocking back a cold one in celebration after tonight’s victory. Sweep those Halos! (psssssst….they’re not from Los Angeles!)
Go Blue!
