Dodgers, A.J. Ellis Hosting Ninth Annual Foundation Bowling Extravaganza Tonight

The first place Dodgers are enjoying a day off today, but some will be bowling later tonight in an event for charity in downtown Los Angeles. Monday night the Dodgers and all around great guy A.J. Ellis will be hosting the ninth annual Dodgers Foundation bowling extravaganza at the Luck Strikes Lanes in Los Angeles.

A.J. will be joined by fellow teammates, coaches, and L.A. celebrities. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly will be there along with coaches Trey Hillman and Steve Yeager. The following players Chris Capuano, Ronald Belisario, Carl Crawford, Jose Dominguez, Tim Federowicz, Mark Ellis, Adrian Gonzalez, J.P. Howell, Clayton Kershaw, Hanley Ramirez, Paco Rodriguez, and Chris Withrow will all be attending.

Celebrity guests will include Melanie Amaro (X Factor winner), David Berman (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), Adam Devine (Comedy Central’s Workaholics), Dennis Haysbert (Major League, 24), Kelle Jakle (Pitch Perfect and 42) Ben Lyons (E! Entertainment reporter) Omar Miller (CSI: Miami), Marcus Morris (Phoenix Suns), Isaiah Mustafa (Old Spice commercials), Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood, Justified), Chris Drama Pfaff (MTV’s Fantasy Factory) and comedian Craig Wayans.

Apparently pitcher Josh Beckett was supposed to co-host the event with A.J. but his wife is expecting their second child soon. Instead Beckett and his wife donated $25,000.

The event will take place on Monday, July 29 from 6:00 – 10:30 P.M at Lucky Strike Lanes LA Live 800 W. Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, 90015.

Media parking will Park in Lot W (West Garage). Enter Gate E (Lot WWest Garage) off of West Road. You will receive a validation voucher at media check-in at the event and need the validation voucher along with your parking ticket in order to exit the parking lot.
