New HistoricDodgerTown.com Website Offers Trove of Content

Today Peter O’Malley, the president and CEO of Historic Dodgertown, announced the launch of historicdodgertown.com.

"“With our recent name change to ‘Historic Dodgertown – Vero Beach, Florida,’ we are in the midst of rebranding and enhancing our multi-sport campus and the new website captures the spirit of this iconic site,” said O’Malley, former Dodger president, 1970-1998. “Our website visitors from throughout the world will now find a concise, user-friendly site with sport specific information and the opportunity to make plans to train, stay and play at the 61-year Spring Training home of the Dodgers.”"

The easy-to-navigate website offers information to those interested in visiting Historic Dodgertown for baseball, football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, etc. Groups can also schedule conferences, and Historic Dodgertown also offers its site as a wedding venue. If you are big Dodger fans, imagine having your special wedding day at Dodgertown!

The site, which is also accessible on mobile devices, has sections which include a schedule of events, news, photographs of the 80-acre campus, reservation information, links to their social media pages, historical biographies, details about The Umpire School held at Dodgertown in January, and more.

The rich history of Dodgertown is chronicled on the site with numerous photos and a timeline. Dodgertown was an integral part of Dodgers history (and continues to be today) as a Spring Training camp through 2008 until the Dodgers moved their facilities to Camelback Ranch-Glendale, Arizona.

Dodgertown is a multi-sport facility owned by Indian River County. There are 10 1/2 playing fields on the campus including the 6,500 seat Holman Stadium.
