Write for Lasorda’s Lair: New Season Brings New Opportunity

Pitchers and catchers have reported across Florida and Arizona. Baseball is back. We can all breathe again.

Just as the players we watch are gearing up for the 2014 season, we are too here at FanSided MLB. In the spirit of a new season, we’re opening the doors and looking to add staff at all of our 33 MLB sites. Our goal is always to bring the most coverage we can to our readers, so this could be the perfect chance to help bring your voice into that mix.

There are staff writer opportunities at all of our individual team sites (including this one), our main MLB site (Call to the Pen), our minor league site (Grading on the Curve), and our fantasy baseball site (Fantasy Baseball Cracker Jacks).

Prior online writing experience is not necessarily required, but we are going to want to see a strong example of your writing abilities. Demonstrating a strong knowledge of the team and sport, while being able to back up your opinions is a must. Staff writers should be able to commit to a minimum of 1-2 posts a week, but topic selection generally at your discretion.

There are also potential editor/co-editor opportunities for our Angels, Brewers, Reds, Orioles, and Rockies sites.
