His fire. If you don’t enjoy watching Yasiel Puig play baseball, you may be dead inside. I say that a lot, because I just cannot understand why some fans (mostly jealous fans of other teams) can not recognize Puig’s talents. I can certainly admit that Buster Posey is a really great player. Hey, even Madison Bumgarner gets a nod at times. Paul Goldscmidt? Annoying, yes. Good, yes. It boggles my mind at how much hate is spewed toward Yasiel Puig. I understand that some of his eccentricities may seem like showboating, but to me those wild ways are incredibly entertaining. His style is on par with other Cuban players (as well as many other Latin players and many other players including MadBum who gets fired up). Puig may wear his heart on his shoulders, but I for one would never want to extinguish that flame.
