Yimi Garcia– B

Garcia probably has the best stuff in the Dodger bullpen, but was just a bit too dinger-prone to really be depended on for most of the season.

Garcia’s strikeout numbers were great and he has a great slider/fastball combo, which led to a 10.80 SO/9 rate, which was the highest in the bullpen outside of the closer. For some reason, he only got one inning in the postseason and it came when the Dodgers were losing 10-3, but Garcia walked David Wright and then got David Murphy, Yoenis Cespedes and Lucas Duda to all strike out swinging.

Garcia probably has the highest upside of any of the non-closer bullpen options and if he can stay healthy and keep the ball in the ballpark. He turned 25 in August and won’t be arbitration eligible until 2018, so expect him to be around a while. If he can continue improving, he could be one of the better seventh inning options in baseball.
