The three Seager brothers are making huge impacts for the Dodgers and Mariners.
Most of the time when bloodlines come up someone is talking about horse racing, but that is not always the case. Phenom and All-Star rookie shortstop for the Dodgers, Corey Seager comes from a pretty impressive baseball family.
His oldest brother Kyle Seager is the everyday third baseman for the Seattle Mariners and the middle brother Justin Seager, is making his way through the Mariners farm. Not only have the Seager boys been known for their maturity, class and strong work ethic, they are all having impressive seasons.
Since he was drafted in 2012, Corey Seager has faced astronomical expectations from everyone.
Since he was drafted in 2012, Corey Seager has faced astronomical expectations from everyone. I mean I remember watching MLB Network his rookie year in the minors and analysts were already saying he had the potential to be the next Derek Jeter.
Talk about huge shoes to fill. Corey of the three brothers, may be the baby, but he is projected to have a better career than Kyle Seager, who is already leaving a lasting mark in Seattle. You ask any Seager brother about another brother and their responses usually fall along the line of, “I’m happy for him. He deserves it and is better than me.”
No one wants to take credit for it, but the fact is, whatever the three Seager boys grew up doing in Kannapolis, North Carolina, trained them not only to be successful people, but successful ballplayers.
