Pantone 294 hosted their first ever “Pantone Night” this past Saturday at Dodgers Stadium. To say it was a success would be an understatement.

Every year the Dodgers have games dedicated to religions, heritage, colleges, law enforcement, and even nights devoted to other Los Angeles teams. However, on May 27th they hosted their first ever Pantone 294 Night. Pantone 294 is a large traveling group of fans who go to away stadiums. This time they switched it up and brought the group to Dodger Stadium.

To be a part of Pantone night, fans had to buy their tickets directly from Pantone 294, rather than the Dodgers. The ticket price was $85 which included a ticket in left field pavilion, a co-branded Dodgers/Pantone shirt, a ticket to the exclusive pre-party at the historic 76 gas station, a free hot dog, and a drink at the event.

At the private event, Justin Turner and Ron Cey made special appearances. Turner even gave the Pantone team a game-used bat that he signed for them. This was a fun experience for many fans being able to hang out around some of their favorite past and present players.

The event was decorated with white and blue balloons as well as plenty of Dodger backgrounds to take pictures with. AM 570 was there to DJ the whole event and brought out a cut out of Clayton Kershaw and Yasiel Puig for fans to take pictures with. There was a bar as well as Dodger dogs that could be bought during the pre-party. Fans had plenty of space to mingle and meet other fans.

When fans showed up to the event, they checked in at the table to grab their tickets and wristbands then made their way to pick up their t-shirts. Once they got both of these things taken care of they were free to do whatever they wanted for the next two hours.

30 minutes until game time, 536 Dodger fans that were a part of the event walked together to the stadium chanting “Let’s Go Dodgers.” Everyone was excited to get to the game and watch their Dodgers take on the defending World Series Champions, Chicago Cubs. Once they were all in their seats, they quickly made their presence known.

The Dodgers took a 1-0 lead against the Cubs in the fourth inning off of a Chase Utley single. After this, it was all about the Dodgers’ offense. In the fifth inning the Dodgers put up another four runs, and with McCarthy throwing an incredible game they easily had this game in the bag. This kept the Pantone group on their feet and cheering throughout the entire game.

During the seventh inning stretch, they brought out their Giant LA flag and sang along. The rest of the crowd absolutely loved it, and social media was flooded with pictures of the flag being brought out at the game.

Once the flag was brought back in the crowd went nuts, yelling and cheering for the group. The Dodgers sailed through the rest of the game en route to a 5-0 win. They finished the three-game sweep of the Cubs on Sunday.
