Rich Hill

The Dodgers seem to ride the wave of emotions whenever Rich Hill is on the mound.  Hill is a former Red Sox reliever and starting pitcher who is now aiming to make his former team pay for letting him go.  Hill is scheduled to start game four of the series which could be a big momentum swing game for the Dodgers.  They will likely either be up 2-1 or down 2-1 so game four is sure to be a huge game.

Hill has been a very good starting pitcher in the postseason for the Dodgers.  He carries a lifetime 3.27 ERA in the postseason and this year he has a 2.61 ERA.  Hill will likely only make one start this postseason so he could be a factor out of the bullpen in games six and seven of the World Series if the series goes that many games.  The Dodgers’ rotation is loaded so it’s easy to overlook someone like Rich Hill, but it could be Hill that helps deliver a momentum changing victory in the World Series.
