Electric Arsenal

When it comes to pure stuff out of all big league pitchers, it would be tough to find more than a handful who have better stuff than Trevor Bauer.  Bauer averages 94.5 miles per hour on his fastball and can get it up into the high 90’s when needed.  The other weapons in Bauer’s arsenal are a solid changeup and a wicked curveball that is similar to Walker Buehler’s.  Like Buehler, Trevor Bauer uses his fastball-curve combo to keep hitters off balance.

In 2018, Bauer had a career season posting a 2.21 ERA and 1.09 WHIP.  All he did was strikeout 221 batters in only 175 plus innings.  While Trevor did not finish in the top three for AL Cy Young voting, he had the second-best ERA in the American League and was a top ten pitcher overall in baseball this season.  Bauer would slot in nicely as the Dodgers’ third playoff starter behind Kershaw and Buehler.
