Dodgers Rumor Round-Up: Pollock, Pederson, Realmuto

Spring is in the process of sprunging yet Major League Baseball’s transaction sheet has remained frozen in the tundra of winter. Manny Machado, Bryce Harper and more have been motionless. But, now, the Stove has been turned from off to high. The Dodgers added AJ Pollock to the roster and the buck should not stop there.

Pollock is acting like a domino on the market. Two relievers signed immediately after Pollock did and all three of the moves came within 12 hours of Nick Markaikas signing with the Braves on a one-year $6 million contract.

It was the momentum baseball needed.

Will this push the league to get Harper off the market? We’ll see. But, what we can talk about with certainty, are the Dodgers and the dominos that will begin to fall for them with Pollock locked up.
