The regular season is now less than two weeks away for the Dodgers and there are plenty of updates coming on the injury front.

The Dodgers’ regular season is now a day short of being two weeks away and the injury front is becoming more clear by the day.  Corey Seager is beginning to play the field and pitching wise Clayton Kershaw is starting to throw pain-free.  Yesterday, Kershaw threw thirty pitches at 100% effort in a bullpen session.

The fact that it was reported that Kershaw seemed happy afterward is great news.  Arguably no player in baseball is tougher on himself than Clayton, so if he was pleased with his bullpen session then not only must he be feeling great but he must have thrown great and located well in his bullpen session.

The next step for Kershaw could be pitching in a spring training game or a “B” game in the back fields of Camelback Ranch, or it might be Clayton throwing all of his pitches in another bullpen session.  Regardless of which route him and the Dodgers choose, they are on the clock with two weeks left until opening day.
