There are now just eight days until the Dodgers open up their season with the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Here are the latest updates on Corey Seager, Walker Buehler, and Clayton Kershaw.

Walker Buehler made his first spring training appearance for the Dodgers last night as he pitched 2 2/3 innings allowing three hits and one run.  Buehler struck out two batters and did not allow any walks as he worked around two hits in the first inning to avoid giving up a run in the first.  Walker threw forty-six pitches which is right around what the expectation was and hit 99 miles per hour on the radar gun.

The next step for Buehler will be pitching in one more spring training game on Monday at Angel Stadium.  He will throw four innings or sixty pitches, whichever comes first and it will be his final tune-up before appearing in his first regular-season start.  That first start of the season will come in one of the Dodgers’ first four games against the Diamondbacks.
