More from LA Dodgers News

We certainly can’t be called homers as just two of our seven writers predicted the Dodgers will finally win that elusive World Series title in 2019.  One pick was Dodgers over the Yankees and the other was revenge with the Dodgers beating the Astros in a grudge match.

The prevailing theme seemed to be Dodgers and Yankees as four of us picked the Yankees to make the World Series and four of seven picked the Dodgers to make it back to a third consecutive World Series.  Three of our writers predict that the Dodgers season will come to an end before the World Series.

The Dodgers are certainly going against history as making a third straight World Series appearance is a feat that doesn’t get accomplished that often.  To put that in an optimistic way, the odds were against the Dodgers making it back to a second consecutive World Series but they still made it back in 2018.

With the Dodgers first game coming tomorrow against the Arizona Diamondbacks, its time to get ready for the marathon that is the MLB regular season and hope that this time the World Series ends in a champagne celebration for the boys in blue.
