Justin de Fratus and Daniel Corcino

Also in the realm of possibilities to start Saturday are a pair of veteran Triple-A starters in Justin de Fratus and Daniel Corcino.  Neither are on the forty man roster and would need to be added.  For de Fratus, he last pitched in the majors back in 2015 with the Philadelphia Phillies.  He pitched Monday so he is perfectly in line to start Saturday after pitching six innings and allowing three earned runs.

Daniel Corcino is another minor league veteran who is scheduled to pitch today but if he were to be scratched and brought up, he could pitch a couple of days late for Saturday’s start.  Corcino pitched four innings for the Dodgers last season in his first big league action since 2014 with the Reds.  Daniel pitched April fifth and gave up two runs in a five-inning start.
