In 2019 the Dodgers have seen another prospect make an impact at the big league level in Alex Verdugo.  Their farm system remains a top 10 farm in MLB.

The Dodgers’ core is made up of former top prospects like Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, and Walker Buehler.  Even Clayton Kershaw the veteran ace of the team was once a heralded prospect in the Dodgers’ farm system.  The latest prospect to make a difference on the big league club is Alex Verdugo who will be counted on even more with A.J. Pollock dealing with an elbow infection.

According to MLB.com, the Dodgers’ top three prospects in order are Alex Verdugo, Keibert Ruiz, and Dustin May.  Gavin Lux and Tony Gonsolin round out the Dodgers’ top five prospects of 2019 which is a very solid group of potential impact prospects at the big league level.  May and Gonsolin both turned heads by dominating big league hitters in spring training.

Here is the way I would rank the Dodgers’ top three most valuable prospects with one being the prospect the Dodgers absolutely should never deal.
