Quackenbush fights for another MLB opportunity

The Dodgers called Zac Rosscup up from the OKC Dodgers on Thursday and there is a case to bring up another OKC reliever in Kevin Quackenbush.  Kevin broke out with the Padres in 2014 but has never been able to replicate his MLB success ever since.  This season Quackenbush started off on poorly pitching to a 5.56 ERA but he has been improving ever since.

After pitching to a 3.38 ERA in May, Kevin Quackenbush has really turned up his game in June pitching to a stellar 0.71 ERA in twelve plus innings.  The opposition has hit just .213 against Kevin in June and he has struck out 19 batters in those twelve plus innings.  Quackenbush has been very good against righties holding them to a .189 average and if the Dodgers feel they need another relief option, Quackenbush has done everything he can to throw his name into the hat.
