The first half of the season went as well as the Dodgers could’ve hoped. They still have questions left to answer in the second half.

Dave Roberts and the Dodgers are right where they expected to be for the second half of the season.  They are on top of MLB in the standings and appear headed for another World Series run.  Aside from an 8-8 start and injuries to Rich Hill and Corey Seager, there was little adversity as the Dodgers jumped out to a double-digit division lead entering the All-Star break.

The second half of the season will begin today for the Dodgers and they will be tested from the start as they travel to Boston to play the team that beat them in last year’s World Series. While the second half of the season seems like a formality with a 13.5 game lead, there are still important questions left to answer before the Dodgers embark on another postseason run.
