This season against Washington: 2 starts, 12 1/3 IP, 4 earned runs, 12 hits, 13 K’s

Walker Buehler made two starts against the Washington Nationals this season. One was a scoreless start spanning seven innings at Dodger Stadium and the other he allowed four earned runs in 5 1/3 innings on the road.  Overall the Nationals current roster has hit .262/.324/.446 against Buehler with two home runs.  Those home runs were hit by Brian Dozier and notorious Dodger killer Gerardo Parra.

Parra has received the most at-bats against Buehler (17) due to his time with the Diamondbacks and Rockies.  Anthony Rendon is 3-6 against Walker Buehler with two doubles and two RBI’s.  Ex-Dodger Brian Dozier is 3-5 against him with a double, a home run, and two RBI’s.  Juan Soto is 0-5 against Buehler with two strikeouts.  Trea Turner is also 0-5 against Walker and it will be key to keep Turner off the bases.
