The best broadcast team in baseball

As spoiled as Dodger fans are for having a contending team just about every season, the broadcast team the Dodgers have is second to none. Vin Scully was an absolute treasure and spanned several generations giving Dodger fans of all ages one of the best broadcasters the game has ever seen.  He is like one walking baseball encyclopedia with a voice as soothing as any.

Jaime Jarrin also provides the same qualities that Vin Scully did to fans that listen to the games in Spanish.  I have listened to several games in Spanish myself and Jaime is as good as any baseball broadcaster in the business including Spanish and English broadcasters.  He is another absolute treasure for Dodger fans that has also been around many generations.

Then there is the current duo of Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser.  When Vin Scully retired it felt like Dodger baseball would never be the same again.  While that is true, Davis and Hershiser are an excellent tandem and both are up to date on the latest trends in baseball.  As Dodger fans, we have been very lucky with the quality of broadcasters we have been given.
