The MLB Winter Meetings are some of the most exciting times for Dodgers fans and this year the team is actually looking to make a big splash.

Just one more day until the Dodgers send Andrew Friedman down to San Diego for the Winter Meetings and he will join the rest of the leagues’ top executives as the wheeling and dealing should kick into high gear.  The Dodgers have not yet signed a Major League free agent this winter and their only move of note so far was non-tendering Yimi Garcia.  All the other arbitration-eligible Dodgers will return next season.

Unlike last winter when the Dodgers’ biggest move was unloading Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig in exchange for Homer Bailey’s contract, Josiah Gray, and Jeter Downs, the Dodgers are looking to go big game hunting this winter.  The Dodgers have already met with Anthony Rendon and Stephen Strasburg as well as some “face time” with Gerrit Cole.  Now it’s time for Andrew Friedman to get to work.  Here are the top storylines to watch for the Winter Meetings.
