Trade for a starting pitcher (such as Mike Clevinger)

The Dodgers have been linked to Francisco Lindor all off-season and now there is some talk that the Indians may decide to hold onto him since they freed up money by dealing Corey Kluber.  While the Indians want Gavin Lux and Dustin May in a potential Lindor trade, one way for the Indians to acquire both could be by putting Mike Clevinger in a potential deal.  Jorge Castillo of the LA Times has linked the Dodgers to Clevinger.

Clevinger is a very underrated starting pitcher and would slide into the number two spot in the Dodgers’ rotation.  Outside of Clevinger, there could be other starting pitchers on the trade block although there have not been any big rumors on the trade front.  Andrew Friedman is always known to surprise and the off-season is shaping up to have Friedman pull another trick out of his sleeve.
