The Dodgers appear to have turned their attention away from free agency and to the trade market.  Should they attempt to land Betts or Lindor?

After “striking out” in free agency the Dodgers have not given up on the off-season and they are finding alternative means to upgrade their roster for the 2020 season.  That alternative route is via trade as the Dodgers have been linked to Francisco Lindor and Mookie Betts.  The rumors regarding Lindor began before the World Series came to an end and the chatter has stuck around into the winter.

Trade rumors involving Mookie Betts are a more recent item as the Dodgers and Indians seem to be haggling over a Lindor trade.  Betts is an interesting case as he is going to test free agency after next season so the Red Sox must decide whether to speed up their rebuild efforts by trading him away or if they want to try and re-sign him next winter to be their franchise guy going forward.

While the Dodgers can’t go wrong with either player, here is the case for the better fit being Mookie Betts or Francisco Lindor.
