Fans looking to keep busy while stuck at home can watch Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Gavin Lux on his new YouTube channel.

After a brief introduction to the Major Leagues last season, Los Angeles Dodgers super-prospect, Gavin Lux, was ready to break into the everyday lineup in 2020 before the coronavirus put everything on hold.

But fans don’t have to wait until baseball returns to catch a glimpse of Lux in action.

The former first round pick, who Baseball America ranked the fourth best prospect in the country last season, started a YouTube channel during the offseason to give fans an inside look at his journey to the Big Leagues.

Four episodes have already been released.

Fans can watch Lux’s offseason workout program, see him in the batting cages, and learn about life behind the scenes as a top prospect. Lux says his favorite episode is recorded during a trip to the barbershop when he can be seen talking with hometown friends.

“I think social media can only help you, as long as you’re doing the right thing with it,” Lux said in a promotional video released by Infield Chatter.

Lux remembers learning about his favorite players through Instagram, so he wants to offer the same access to his fans.

The second baseman from Wisconsin smashed his way through Triple-A last season in Oklahoma City with an eye-popping .392 batting average and .710 slugging percentage. He hit 13 home runs in just 49 games, clearly proving he was ready to take the next step to Dodger Stadium. In limited action in the majors last season, he batted .240 and drove in nine runs over 23 games.
