In the 117 years of modern playoff baseball, there had never been a pitcher vs. batter matchup where the players had the same name. Until Game 5 of the 2020 NLCS in the top of the sixth inning, that is!

With two outs and a 1-2 count, Will Smith the Dodger swung at a low pitch and drove it deep into left-field and out for a stunning three-run home run to put the Dodgers into the lead and start their comeback from a 3-1 deficit in the series.
