Dodgers star Corey Seager is about to get married!

2020 has been a pretty horrible year for everyone, but we could live vicariously through Los Angeles Dodgers star Corey Seager, can’t we?

The 26-year-old enjoyed an incredible 60-game shortened season and then won NLCS and World Series MVP honors en route to the franchise’s first championship in 32 years. Now, just four weeks before the new year, he’s set to marry his fiancé Madisyn Van Ham, who has been keeping us up to date with their wedding plans all week.

Her Instagram post on Friday night prompted the official Dodgers Twitter account to give the two lovebirds a shoutout, and it was a good one.

Two rings for Seager in 2020?! That’s what we call perseverance. It’s been quite the road for Madisyn as well as she was seen with him throughout the Dodgers’ epic postseason run in Arlington, Texas.

If that wasn’t enough, Seager is a year removed from earning himself a mega contract since his stock is at an all-time high after his last two campaigns. We’d be remiss if we didn’t credit Madisyn for helping out, though. After all, she’s been his biggest fan. Earlier this year, she sported a bathing suit with Seager’s face all over it. Talk about a confidence booster.

Six weeks after a World Series victory, Seager is enjoying another life milestone. The man is 2020-proof. Perhaps we should start taking some pages out his playbook? Be better at baseball. Figure out a way to be good looking. Find a lady who’s going to be by your side every step of the way. Seems pretty easy, right?

But will Seager be the MVP of his wedding? That would give him the trifecta after his triumphs in October, but we think Madisyn’s the favorite here. Sorry, Corey, you simply can’t win them all even when everyone else is taking an L. The edge goes to your better half as we approach the big moment.
