Dodgers Game Today: Dodgers vs Padres Lineup, Odds, Prediction, Pick, Pitcher, TV for Aug. 25
Make that 15 of their last 20 after Tuesday night’s win over the San Diego Padres. The Los Angeles Dodgers cannot be stopped!
And like we said, it’s a prime opportunity to bury a hobbling Padres side that’s now lost 10 of 12 and will almost definitely not be making the playoffs. They had to bullpen the series opener and will now be tasked with facing the Dodgers’ two best arms.
AJ Pollock was the star on Tuesday night, robbing a home run off the bat of Manny Machado and then delivering a two-run single to extend LA’s lead in the top of the seventh. Julio Urias went five shutout innings and got the win after the bullpen managed to hold down the fort.
Hey Mets, wanna do us a favor and maybe get a win or two over the Giants as we take care of business in San Diego?

Dodgers vs Padres Odds Today
Per our friends at WynnBET, we’re once again getting very favorable Dodgers odds. LA comes in at -140 on the moneyline (bet $140 to win $100) while the Pads are +120 (bet $100 to win $120). Very similar to Tuesday night. On the run line, the Dodgers are -1.5 at a price of +115 (bet $100 to win $115) and San Diego is +1.5 at -140 (bet $140 to win $100).
The over/under is a lowly 7.5 runs. Seven were scored last night with a much lesser pitching matchup. Perhaps the under is the play here given these two pitchers’ history against these teams. If you like the over and think eight or more runs will be scored, that’s sitting at -125 (bet $125 to win $100) while the under is +104 (bet $100 to win $104).
Dodgers Pitcher Today
Tonight it’ll be Walker Buehler (13-2, 2.11 ERA) vs Blake Snell (6-5, 4.82 ERA), in a battle of two pitchers who couldn’t be trending in more different directions. Buehler leads all of MLB in ERA while Snell is enduring the worst season of his career after being traded by the Tampa Bay Rays. The lefty has issued the most walks (65) of any starting pitcher in the league.
Buehler saw the Pads twice earlier this year in April, and in those outings he combined for 13 innings pitched with four earned runs. He struck out 13 batters while giving up just 11 hits and one walk. The Dodgers split those games he pitched in.
As for Snell, he’s seen LA three times this year, and while he hasn’t been bad, he’s yet to get past the fifth inning. The Padres are 2-1 in those games he’s pitched in. The lefty totaled 15 innings pitched with four earned runs on 13 hits and seven walks. He struck out 19 batters as well. Oddly enough, these were some of his best outings of the year.

Dodgers vs Padres Prediction Today
Again, at this point, the analysis can only take you so far. In situations like these, it’s hard to bet against the hot hand and put any money on a team like the Pads, who can’t pitch or score runs. The Dodgers are on a mission and the Padres are moments from being pronounced dead.
Dodgers win, 8-3. That’s all we got for ya.
