The Los Angeles Dodgers have left the west coast in a surely-disorienting move for many fans.

But don’t worry — we’ve got you covered for the duration of the team’s stay in St. Louis and beyond!

Still in the midst of an impressive climb in the standings, the Dodgers remain a single game behind the eternally-hot Giants for the NL West lead, but hold the top Wild Card spot by an unimpeachable 13.5 games. It remains safe to say there’ll be postseason baseball at Chavez Ravine, but just how much of it has yet to be determined.

On Tuesday, the road to October continues for the Dodgers against a team that’s theoretically battling for the second Wild Card: the St. Louis Cardinals, who riding an exceptional Adam Wainwright season. No matter their record, that thought will certainly scare any scarred LAD fan.

After Max Scherzer shoved to get this series off on the right foot, what can Dodgers fans expect for Game 2?

Dodgers Pitcher Today

Los Angeles will send … Corey Knebel to the mound?! Another “TBD” that was filled in just before game time, which surprisingly hasn’t blunted the Dodgers’ momentum in the past. The reliever (3-0, 3.12), recently back from injury, will face off with the explosive JA Happ, currently sporting a 6.20 ERA split between Minnesota and St. Louis.

Dodgers Starting Lineup

Albert Pujols hits third on his old turf, and Steven Souza Jr. is getting some run! Alright!

Dodgers vs Cardinals Prediction Today

This seems like a high-scoring affair based on almost every metric, but Los Angeles’ offense is simply … better than any combination of Four-A players the STL can place on the diamond. All the makings of a 9-4 laugher, if Happ’s able to postpone his own combustion until the fourth or fifth. Otherwise, it could get even uglier.
