Unfortunately, the San Francisco Giants won’t falter, so the Dodgers just have to worry about themselves, and Max Scherzer taking the bump on Wednesday night should allow them to focus on another victory.

Interestingly enough, however, he’s been good against the Dodgers, allowing just one earned run over 10.2 innings this year.

But expect this to be a sort of bullpen game for the Padres, which will certainly play into LA’s favor.
