1. 3 Homers Against the Reds!

The 2016 season, González’s last full one with the Dodgers, marked a downslide as the veteran failed to generate power, hitting just 18 home runs in 156 games, which his lowest total with LA up until that point. But three of those came in one game, which eventually helped the Dodgers pull away in the NL West race.

On Aug. 22, 2016, in Cincinnati facing the Reds, González put on a power display, bashing three bombs and driving in eight runs in the 18-9 victory. It was the second time González hit three home runs in a game for the Dodgers, and he spearheaded the team’s power display (seven total on the day).

González hit a three-run homer in his first at-bat in the top of the first, then hit a solo shot in the fifth, followed by another three-run bomb in the top of the seventh, and finally, an RBI groundout in the eighth.

For González, it would be his best power display for the rest of the season, as he would hit just three home runs combined the rest of the year. But that win put the Dodgers up one game over the rest of the NL West, a lead they would never surrender.
