Don’t ask us who is watching the Instagram stories of adult film stars … but people do it! And what do ya know! Every once in a while, we’ll get a nice crossover with sports to have a good laugh. For the enjoyment of Los Angeles Dodgers fans, we came across a little story involving division-rival San Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer.
It’s been fun to laugh at the Padres’ expense in the early going this season. Fernando Tatis Jr. injuring himself wasn’t exactly funny, but it was right on par with San Diego historically shooting itself in the foot. Then came Tatis’ soccer gaffe just one month after undergoing wrist surgery.
Before that, the team was unable to unload the contracts of Hosmer and Wil Myers, which forced general manager AJ Preller to scramble right up until Opening Day to both upgrade the roster and remain under the luxury tax threshold, which proved to be a difficult task (that ended up being achieved).
But it appears being the subject of trade rumors for the better part of a year isn’t all that Hosmer has to endure. Adult film star Silvia Saige outed the veteran for some apparent antics he pulled back during his days with the Kansas City Royals.
Adult film star Silvia Saige makes Dodgers fans laugh with Eric Hosmer story
Lighten up, Mosmer! This is akin to getting mad at somebody bunting for a hit with a lopsided score.
Saige recalls, back in the day, before she became an adult film star, doing some promotional modeling work. One time, that line of work came with the Royals, which is when she met “Mosmer.” The two “hit it off” and she went back to his place, but he was allegedly upset when she revealed she wouldn’t sleep with him, prompting him to kick her out “rather rudely” and then tell the story to the clubhouse the next day.
We’ll refrain from doing the investigative reporting in regard to when Saige’s adult film career began, but we know Hosmer’s Royals career ended after the 2017 season, meaning this story is at least five years old.
Per Saige’s Instagram account, she’s also a standup comic and podcast host. Maybe the infamous “Mosmer” will be a bit the next time she takes the mic … specifically the next time the Padres are in either LA or NYC to make for a greater likelihood the players enjoy a night off with some entertainment, only to be shocked by this anecdote.
