It's become clear that unless Michael Conforto can pull off a miracle in the next two weeks, he'll likely be out of a job after the trade deadline. He was heating up right before the All-Star break and batted .300 with an .864 OPS in his prior seven games, but his .184 average and .620 OPS on the year make him one of the worst qualified hitters in baseball (his average is literally the worst among qualified hitters).

The Dodgers have already been rumored to be looking at outfielders at the trade deadline. Fabian Ardaya of the Athletic predicted that they would bring in a bat at the trade deadline, and nowhere are they more in need of one than the outfield. Conforto still has a slim chance to change the tides, but there are also some good outfielders who could be floating on the market.

Steven Kwan

The Dodgers have already been loosely connected to Kwan in "whispers" about a rumored blockbuster trade that would also include Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase. Kwan is easily the best option on this list as a two-time All-Star and three-time Gold Glove winner under team control through 2027. He's never been much of a power hitter, but he's a consistent on-base presence and smart baserunner who would give the bottom of the lineup a boost.

Luis Robert Jr.

Robert is having the worst season of his career, which is saying a lot, given that his 2024 season also looked pretty bad. However, the Dodgers have consistently been connected to him for multiple offseasons and trade deadlines now. LA even reportedly tried to include him in the three-team trade that got Tommy Pham from the Cardinals — and this could be the time for them to buy low, especially because he has a club option at the end of this season that can be declined if he underperforms.

Jarren Duran

Duran is becoming a popular name on the trade market if the Red Sox do indeed end up selling, and the division-rival Padres are reportedly being aggressive in their approach. While Duran definitely seems more like a Padre than a Dodger and his overall power has taken a dive this year, he's got speed and a good arm, and the bat would still be more valuable than Conforto's.

Cedric Mullins

Mullins would be a rental with his impending free agency at the end of the season, and he's having his worst campaign since 2020. But he still the Orioles' leader in homers, RBI, and is tied for second in walks. Baltimore is expected to be a big seller at the deadline thanks to their utterly disappointing 2025 season, so Mullins could come cheap.
