Mario, a Los Angeles native, is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and the MLB Scout School. He served as the Contributing West Coast Baseball Scout for the popular website ProspectJunkies.com, and contributed scouting reports on elite draft prospects to another popular website 2080Baseball.com. Mario also served as the Director of California Recruiting for Premier Scouting Service, where he connected college coaches with student athletes seeking athletic scholarships. He played high school baseball, coached and umpired in youth leagues, and has also worked as a college admissions counselor. Mario is passionate about scouting, player development, and keeping the DH out of the National League.
