The Giants are the third-worst team in the National League, but they made their win over the Dodgers on Monday night look easy. The two teams traded blows through the sixth — Max Muncy brought LA to a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the inning — but Alex Vesia loaded the bases in the seventh, which opened the floodgates for San Francisco, who eventually won 9-3.
The Giants' outfield has been getting some attention lately for their win celebrations. Last week, it was Drew Gilbert trying to kiss Jung Hoo Lee as they, along with Heliot Ramos, met for a hug. And then it was Lee trying to make Gilbert and Ramos kiss. And then, on Monday, finally some reciprocation. Gilbert, Lee, and Harrison Bader ... let's just say they banged their hips together enthusiastically.
Just guys being dudes.

The only complaint Dodgers fans should have about this is that it happened at LA's expense, otherwise it's just funny.
LA's offense continues to flounder — Teoscar Hernández was batted in the eight spot, Shohei Ohtani went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts, Andy Pages went 0-for-4. At least Mookie Betts picked up a hit in his return and Freddie Freeman and Will Smith are showing some signs of life.

The Giants have the second-worst OPS in the NL as a team, but you wouldn't know that if the only Giants game you've seen this season was last night's. Everyone in San Francisco's starting lineup except Matt Chapman and Jesus Rodriguez (who batted seventh and ninth respectively) picked up at least one hit, and even they picked up an RBI apiece — Chapman with a bases-loaded walk and Rodriguez with a bases-loaded groundout.
The Dodgers, on the other hand, went 2-for-10 with runners in scoring position.
Ohtani's offense has been one of LA's biggest concerns as of late. Some of his at-bats on Monday were tough to watch, and Dave Roberts confirmed after the game that Ohtani would be sidelined entirely the day after his next start.
With this most recent Dodgers' loss and the Padres' win over the Cardinals on Sunday, LA is trailing by half a game in the NL West. It's far from reason to sound any alarms right now, but it's certainly not fun to watch, especially when the Giants are doing ... whatever their doing because the Dodgers are losing at home.
