Dodgers just announced greatest bobblehead promotion ever from 2025 World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers have one of the most loaded promotional schedules in baseball — probably the most loaded promotional schedule. They announced 33 different stadium giveaways at the beginning of the season, ranging from player and other LA sports icons bobbleheads to replica World Series trophies and rings; and that doesn't even cover all of it.

Apparently, they saw no need to stop there when they could simply treat fans to even more stuff. On Wednesday, the Dodgers announced a surprise bobble to commemorate "The Catch" in last year's Game 7 of the World Series. It'll be given out at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, September 6 during Los Angeles' series against the Washington Nationals.

It features Andy Pages jumping to snag Ernie Clement's fly ball, and Kiké Hernández, in the middle of getting run over.

Dodgers fans will gladly take any excuse to relive the last few innings of that Game 7. In the bottom of the ninth with the game tied, the Toronto Blue Jays loaded the bases against Blake Snell and then Yoshinobu Yamamoto with two outs. Dave Roberts had pulled Tommy Edman in favor of Pages' superior defense in center.

Clement hit a ball out to the warning track and Hernández gave chase. If it got down, the Blue Jays would have won their first series since 1993. Instead, Pages barreled him over to snag the ball and send the game into extras.

Hernández didn't have a great route to ball, so Pages' intervention — as meme-able as it has become — was probably necessary. Hernández has since said that he stayed on the ground for a time after the collision because he thought that the Dodgers had just lost the World Series. Pages came back to pick him up, and they kept rolling.

It was a moment that saved Pages from total evisceration from the Dodgers' fandom. It feels like a long time ago now that Pages had an explosive first half and is an All-Star, but he had literally the worst offensive postseason performances in baseball history. One catch (well, and a World Series win) was enough to erase all of that chatter.

It's unclear how many of these bobbleheads the Dodgers are going to hand out. Sometimes they make enough to give one to every single fan at a sold-out game, but no doubt the lines are going to be legendary regardless.
