Shohei Ohtani rarely ever takes pregame or off-day batting practice, but he did on Wednesday before going hitless in the Dodgers' series finale against the Guardians and just 2-for-7 with two walks in the first two games.

During that game, after striking out in the eighth, he walked back to the dugout shaking his wrist.

Dave Roberts was asked about it after the game, which the Dodgers lost 4-1. He said, "You know, I don't know. I saw that, too, after that last strikeout. I'll get a report from [head athletic trainer] Thomas [Albert] after this session."

It's nothing to be overly concerned about right now, and Ohtani is in his usual spot at the top of the Dodgers' order as they start their road trip against the Nationals, but even the most minor of cracks in Ohtani's armor is going to raise some fans' eyebrows.

Dodgers News: Kiké Hernández pulls rare Clayton Kershaw card

Celebrities, they're just like us.

Kiké Hernández is a card collector; he's been spotted at a few Pokemon card shows and partnered with Topps around Christmas to deliver packs to kids. This week, Hernández posted a video of himself opening a box of Topps Transcendent — one of the most expensive products they produce — pulling a rare card of a familiar face.

Hernández went home with a Clayton Kershaw autograph, numbered eight (Hernández's jersey number) out of 25.

Sick pull, Kiké, but how about giving that away to a lucky fan (maybe us)? Can't you get one of those just by asking?

Dodgers News: LA to debut historic new road jerseys

Fanatics is really bad at keeping their new jerseys under wraps. Even before Opening Day, pictures of a blue Dodgers jersey had leaked on Twitter. The Dodgers officially confirmed that they will be working a blue "Los Angeles" uniform into their away rotation. It doesn't look like the usual grays are going anywhere, but it'll alternate with the blue.

Outside of their spring training uniforms, the Dodgers have had a fully blue home jersey — their first edition City Connect that read "Los Dodgers" — but they've never worn one on the road.

It's another instance of the Dodgers deviating from tradition this season, coming off the heels of the "Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium" news, but it's not an unwelcome one. We say: the more Dodger blue, the better.
