The Los Angeles Dodgers still don't know who they will be playing in the National League Wild Card round, but Major League Baseball has revealed the game times for the opening round of the playoffs.
As winners of the National League West and the No. 3 seed in the National League, the Dodgers are set to play either the Cincinnati Reds or the New York Mets. Regardless of the opponent, the Dodgers will be the primetime Wild Card series in the National League.

The Reds currently have the inside track to sliding into the playoffs at the No. 6 seed. With a win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday afternoon, the Reds clinch the final spot in the National League Wild Card. The Mets, who play the Miami Marlins, need a win in addition to a Reds loss.
The 2025 season hasn't exactly gone the way the Dodgers had hoped. Injuries throughout the season have decimated their bullpen, and with a pitching staff that still has some question marks, facing the offensive-starved Reds may seem like an ideal situation. The problem, however, is that the Reds have a strong starting rotation, and in a three-game series, it could be dangerous for a Dodgers starting lineup that has been inconsistent at times this season.
The Mets, meanwhile, have some familiar names in their lineup, but a shaky pitching staff may present an easier path for the Dodgers.
Dodgers land primetime Wild Card spotlight with schedule now official
The Dodgers and their mystery opponent will be the primetime game for the National League this week. The first two games of the series are set to be played on Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:08 PM CT. Upon the conclusion of Sunday's games, Major League Baseball will likely reveal the game times for Thursday's game (but could wait until the series unfold). Considering the Dodgers are the defending World Series champions, it would make sense for them to land in a primetime slot if a Game 3 is necessary.
A date with Walker Buehler and the Philadelphia Phillies is waiting for the Dodgers if they advance out of the Wild Card round.
