Julio Urías is coming off one of his worst starts of his career against the Baltimore Orioles when he lasted just five innings and allowed eight earned runs on eight hits in last week's loss.

It's been an up-and-down year for the Los Angeles Dodgers' left-hander, who can't avoid the long ball -- he's allowing nearly two home runs per nine innings. On Tuesday, the team faces a loaded Toronto Blue Jays lineup that hits lefties well this season. Will Urías be able to rediscover his Cy Young form?

Urías has a 5.02 ERA, far higher than his mark last year of 2.16, the best in the NL. While there have been injuries that have derailed his progress this season (he has only made 14 starts), it's been his inability to avoid homers that have stunted his progression on the mound.

The Blue Jays check in fifth in batting average against lefties, but they don't have the power to take advantage of Urías' biggest issue. Toronto has the fewest home runs (15) against lefties this season. If Urías is able to keep the ball in the yard, he should put together a quality start.

Meanwhile, Chris Bassitt has some concerning metrics. While his 3.92 ERA looks decent, it's supported by a 4.40 xERA and he'll be facing a Dodgers team that is tops in OPS in the big leagues over the last month.

Urías has had his fair share of struggles, but this is a good spot to back him at a discount given the lineup he's set to face.
