I think the Diamondbacks are in a bit over their head in this series against the Dodgers. They certainly deserve to be in this spot, but unlike a team like the Phillies, they aren't peaking when they need to.

Over the last 30 days, the Diamondbacks are just 27th in the Majors in OPS at .649. The Dodgers, meanwhile, are fourth over that time frame at .788. That's not good news for a team that has to hit the road and take on the No. 2 seed in the National League.

Clayton Kershaw has also had three strong outings against the Diamondbacks this season, sporting a 2-1 record with a 3.18 ERA against them. I expect more of the same against the lefty tonight.

I'm going to take the Dodgers moneyline and be safe, but if you want to get more aggressive you should certainly consider taking the Dodgers on the -1.5 run line.
