The last time Enrique "Kiké" Hernández was in a Los Angeles Dodgers uniform, he was jubilantly dog piling with this his fellow teammates, finally celebrating a World Series win in their third attempt.

After leaving the team for the Boston Red Sox in the 2020 offseason, Hernández now returns thanks to a trade between the Dodgers and Red Sox completed on Tuesday afternoon.

With a slash line circling the drain (.222/.279/.320), Dodgers fans might have some trepidation believing this move could pay dividends, but the reality is the Dodgers need Hernández's utility in the field and a right-handed bat in the lineup.

Perhaps the Dodgers front office thinks their hitting coaches can fix Hernández's batting problems and he can be the spark plug he was during his first stint. Here are his best moments from his first stint.

2017 World Series: Game 2

The Dodgers were three outs away from going up 2-0 in the 2017 World Series when the bottom fell out; the bullpen allowed three home runs in the ninth and tenth innings. The never-say-die Dodgers managed to find themselves down 5-4 in the bottom of the 10th with two outs when Hernández stepped to the plate.

In a clutch moment with a favorable 3-1 count, Hernández deposited a single to bring in Logan Forsythe to tie the game and send Dodger Stadium into a frenzy. The Dodgers would unfortunately lose the game and, controversially, the series, but that did not detract from Hernández's clutch play.

Before Bellinger, it was Kiké

The biggest hit of the Dodgers' miracle comeback in the 2020 NLCS against the Atlanta Braves might have been Cody Bellinger's Game 7 go-ahead solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Don't forget that Bellinger would have only tied the game if it had not been for Enrique Hernández just an inning earlier. To start the bottom half of the sixth inning, with the Dodgers down one run, Hernandez worked a 2-2 count before unloading on an A.J. Minter fastball to tie the game at three-all

An inning later, Bellinger performed his heroics and the Dodgers would prevail to win their third NL pennant in four years. They would eventually go on to win their first World Series title in 32 years.

1-2-3 Blast Off

If you ask die-hard Dodgers fans what their favorite memory of Enrique Hernández's first stint with the team was, this memory might be the universal winner.

Up three games to one in the 2017 NLCS against the defending champion Chicago Cubs, the Dodgers had their best chance to return to the World Series for the first time in 29 years.

Hernández left no doubt when he proceeded to become the first Dodgers player with three home runs in a postseason game. Hernandez hit a solo, two-run, and grand slam home run to drive in a postseason record seven runs.

Hernandez's epic game not only helped clinch the series for the Dodgers, but it also put him in the pantheon for one of the best postseason performances in team history.
