The Dodgers have made it known that they have a lot of money and aren't afraid to use it, so it only makes sense that the team would invest some of it in the fans, who will be scrambling to Dodger Stadium come March 28 to see the superteam LA has assembled.
Dodgers fans have stayed winning this offseason and have the best shot of anyone to see their team translate that success onto the field, and now the Dodgers are giving even more with an absolutely fantastic slate of promotional giveaways throughout the season.
The promotional schedule is a treasure trove. Not only are there 18 bobblehead giveaway nights (including two for Shohei Ohtani), the Dodgers will also be giving away shirts, hoodies, hats, and special jerseys on top of themed heritage nights and fireworks shows. This promo lineup is just as stacked as the one that'll hit the field on Opening Day.
Dodgers promotional schedule includes 18 bobblehead giveaway nights
The Dodgers will either be giving away goodies or hosting events at a pretty incredible clip, especially at the beginning of the season. It'll kick off during the first series of the season, with a Freddie Freeman bobblehead on March 30, during their third game against the Cardinals.
Listed below are the big hitters, but also slated are Jason Heyward City Connect, Matt Kemp, Dusty Baker, Bobby Miller, Sandy Koufax, and Brusdar Graterol bobbleheads. Four other bobblehead nights are scheduled but are unattached to a certain player as of writing.
Date of Giveaway | Dodgers Bobblehead |
---|---|
March 30 | Freddie Freeman |
April 20 | Walker Buehler |
May 16 | Shohei Ohtani |
May 18 | Will Smith |
May 21 | Mookie Betts |
June 1 | Tyler Glasnow |
June 13 | Yoshinobu Yamamoto |
The promotional schedule was already great last year, when the team gave away 13 bobbleheads and held a number of heritage/cultural nights that they'll be revisiting in 2024. This year, they're just ramping things up, and for good reason. New additions Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will all get bobbleheads; the re-signed Joe Kelly will be honored with a jersey giveaway. Also on the docket is a Star Wars night, a Jackie Robinson hat, a Kobe Bryant jersey, and a sick Dodgers terrycloth hoodie.
Dodgers fans have eaten so well this offseason and clearly have a lot to look forward to. Single game tickets go on sale on Feb. 2 at 10 AM PST — circle all the giveaway dates on your calendar and run, don't walk, to Dodger Stadium this season.
