During last week's Opening Day game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Los Angeles Dodgers were treated to a brief on-field show in which a fan made his way onto the outfield grass and attempted to propose to his girlfriend before he was obliterated by a form tackle from a security guard.

The incident obviously went viral, with D-backs outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. living and dying by every moment as it all transpired. Hilarious stuff. In the end, the man, Ricardo Juarez, was banned from Dodger Stadium for a year. Not the worst punishment for an unforgettable moment.

Now, the couple is looking to take advantage of their 15 minutes of fame by starting a GoFundMe to help pay for their wedding.

Juarez's fiancé, Stephani Gutierrez, started the fundraiser, and the pair has crowdsourced $613 of their $20,000 goal. Good luck, because that's a steep price for a cause that isn't exactly uniting for Dodgers fans.

Well, actually, love is pretty uniting, isn't it? Here's what Juarez told the LA Times when he was asked why he pulled off the daring stunt: “Just show your wives that you love them. Tell them the truth, always fight, treat them with love and do everything for them, because well, she is the love of your life.”

At least it's not a fundraiser for what could've been medical costs after Juarez was violently tackled. Though that would probably make a few more bucks than their latest endeavor, it'd be a bit less inspiring. In the end, Juarez was just super sore after the tackle (uhh, yeah) and got clearance to take a few days off from work.

Instead, Gutierrez accepted Juarez's proposal and the two are now planning a wedding, hopefully with the help of fellow Dodgers and baseball fans. The couple have a one-year-old child together and Gutierrez is a mother to three other kids.

If anything, Juarez risking it all should truly give fans the motivation to donate. He could barely afford to get them both to the Dodgers game and he asked friends and family for small loans to get the money for a ring.

Someone send this to the security guard who laid Suarez out. He should be good for a few bucks after getting that lick in.
