Dodgers prospects have been showing up and showing out for the team in spring training. As we wade closer to Opening Day in Seoul, the major leaguers have been coming in more to take over in the lineup, but players like Dalton Rushing, Trey Sweeney, and Andy Pages have made themselves known as ones to watch out for.
However, all eyes will be back on the prospects on March 16, when Dodgers up-and-comers take on Angels up-and-comers at Tempe Diablo Stadium at 3:10 PM PST as part of MLB's Spring Breakout exhibition series. Courtesy of a collaboration with MLB and STN, you can watch the game on this very page.
MLB Spring Breakout: What to Expect from Dodgers vs. Angels
On March 7, rosters for all 30 teams were released. The Dodgers' features Rushing and Sweeney, both NRIs in Dodgers' spring training who survived the first round of roster cuts and could very well be on their way to call-ups during the season, as well as offseason trade acquisitions Jackson Ferris and Zyhir Hope. No. 4 prospect Josue De Paula will also appear in the outfield.
They'll take on 27 Angels prospects, including a handful who fall in their top 10: Nelson Rada (No. 2, OF), Caden Dana (No. 3, RHP), and Kyren Paris (No. 4, SS). All three have been prominently present in Angels' camp; Rada has delivered some subpar offensive results over six games, but Dana has been almost unhittable in four innings for Anaheim so far.
