Shockingly, the Dodgers don't lay claim to the highest median ticket price in baseball this year — that honor (?) goes to the Athletics, who are already fighting an uphill battle trying to get anyone in Sacramento to come to games — but they still fall in at No. 2, with a steep drop-off between them and the third place Rays ($177 to $146).
While getting out to the ballpark at least once in the season should be a goal for anyone who can swing it, most fans will be watching the majority of games from the comforts (including and especially air conditioning) of home. SportsNet LA will be your usual go-to outside of a smattering of nationally televised games.
Joe Davis will be SNLA's lead play-by-play announcer for his ninth season, after taking over for Vin Scully at the beginning of the 2017 season. He'll be joined primarily by Orel Hershiser for color commentary, but Nomar Garciaparra, Stephen Nelson, Eric Karros, and Jessica Mendoza could also sub in in either role. Kirsten Watson is slated to be the Dodgers' regular sideline reporter.
Who are the Dodgers' TV and radio announcers for 2025?
Charley Steiner will lead Dodgers radio broadcasts, a role he moved into full-time in 2019. He'll be joined by Rick Monday and Tim Neverett (both of whom also made the occasional appearance in the SportsNet LA booth) on AM 570.
The most notable change to the broadcasting team by far is former Dodger Luis Cruz's addition to the Spanish language team, joining Pepe Yñiguez (lead play-by-play) and José Mota and replacing the late, great Fernando Valenzuela, who stepped away from broadcasting duties ahead of the postseason before he passed away in late October. The Dodgers will wear a uniform patch paying tribute to Valenzuela throughout the 2025 season.
The Dodgers are in good hands with this crew, most of whom have been broadcasting for the team for years. Hopefully, we'll get a lot more moments like Davis' call of Freddie Freeman's walk-off grand slam in Game 1 of the World Series last year. They're definitely covering the right squad for that.
