White Sox need more outfield production

The White Sox have young slugger Eloy Jimenez in left field but the rest of their outfield and even the designated hitter spot are lacking some pop.  Leury Garcia is currently penciled in as the White Sox right fielder and last season he hit just eight home runs in 577 at-bats.  He also slashed just .279/.310/.688.  The Sox have Adam Engel in centerfield who is another light-hitting outfielder so they could use a big upgrade in right field.

Then there is the designated hitter spot where Chicago currently has Zack Collins penciled into that spot.  Collins struggled in 86 at-bats slashing .186/.307/.656.  Joc Pederson slugged 36 home runs in 2019 which would’ve led the entire White Sox roster and he would be a significant boost to their lineup.  While losing Aaron Bummer would hurt their bullpen, they could find a bargain reliever on the free-agent market with Alex Colome and Kelvin Herrera at the back of their pen.
